Due to different reasons administration of processors and networks is often done “remote”. One of the reasons is the price, the other is the faster reaction time which does improve significantly. An Administrator usually has the force over the whole network in a company. This also goes for the administrators who have access over the phone or via the internet. Due to this it is vital to take preventive measures:
- Data link between administrator and company has to be secure
- The administrator may administer only if the company demands or permits this.(Background)

In particular the second case may not be underestimated, with an administrator who is allowed to login day and night the firm is exposed to his arbitrariness.
